There was a time in my life, when every next problem I faced or rather I should have solved- I used to take aid of alcohol. Though I could have done much better than consuming those couple of pegs I felt these pegs would give better ideas, and mind to decide and talk out my heart. But as time passed by nothing seemed to happen. Problem started in family also as due to my personal failures I started to blame my family members and things started to go stray. Whatever I started or proceeded with, went towards a dead end and I started to get confused in mind, body and soul about what next to do Nothing seemed to work and still there I was surviving, how I didn’t know myself. Until the month of Dec’08 when I again started getting fillers from my sister-in-law that I should attend a retreat. I wasn’t of that mind as I had attended two retreats and I could not do much with that. Till I finally decided to attend the retreat by bro. Johnson as told to me by my sister-in-law. And this proved to be the turning point in my life.
After attending this retreat, by the grace of God I have stopped consuming alcohol which I had started at a very early age. I profusely thank my Lord for this gift
Step by step things have started falling into place with me and my family members. Despite of busy schedule that I have my wife sees to it that she assists me in whichever way she can. Though I am very much pre-occupied with my business my mind was disturbed and I could not concentrate on my work as my wife was not happy with the Bar business.
I had asked the Lord to show me the way about what next to do. Lucky few days after, I had a cousin visiting me with a request to design his wedding card on computer, and that’s when Lord made me decide that I should go in printing business. Over here I tried my innovative ways but again I felt that I’m coming to a dead end and I even tried to consult my brother- in-law who was well-versed in this field but he refused. And that’s when I said to my Lord, “You have brought me out off worldly things, now you only show me how to walk this new path that you have put me on and I also called to my Lord to help me out and that without his message or aid to me, I won’t proceed any further”. That very moment miraculously my wife got a call from him saying that he is on his way. And here he was at my place at the dead of the night and sorted out the difficulty I had in printing, fell in place automatically and gracefully. And here is how my faith got strengthened and I knew for sure that it was God send shepherd directing me how to proceed on my further path.
Then onwards I decided that whenever, whichever and whatever circumstances I am in, I will take recourse of the help of my Lord, my God, Jesus Christ and trust in him forever in my domestic and social life.
I thank my Lord as I was so grateful to him, and than subsequently I happened to know one person through my cousin, who happened to be a businessman in the same field. In the course of discussion he happened to mention that he had to hurry up to receive the cargo of his printing machine from Japan. I got inquisitive and I requested him to arrange one smaller machine for me and he agreed to do the needful.
A week or two after that my relative told me about a retreat conducted by bro. Amalesh in Jaknibandh. Though I was reluctant but I proceeded because she needed a lift. At the end of the retreat bro Amalesh gave a message that there is somebody among the retreat-ants who wants to start a business and he is blessed for that. And that very moment I took that message is for me. The very next day I got a call from the businessman I met earlier saying that there is offset machinery for sale with accessories which could actually cost 10 lakhs but since the party who owned that had some emergency to dispose at a lower price of 3 lakhs. And that’s when I realized that I don’t have that much amount at hand. I didn’t want to borrow from my relatives as the amount I had borrowed earlier was yet to be cleared off. And at the same time I had decided that I’ll trust only in my Lord and leave all my problems to him. Days passed by things didn’t fall in place that’s when the evil one tempted me to call on my close contacts for financial aid but the response was negative. But since I had placed my faith in my Lord he made me think of the requirement I had like a shop that I will require to set up the printing machine and I went around looking for a shop. The first party I came across quoted a sum of Rs. 5 lakhs but he delayed in disposing the same for his personal reason and latter I realized that the complex was to be demolished to construct bypass road. Here again my Lord helped me in avoiding losses and with this trust I went looking out for another shop and there was one for 13.5 lakhs which I could not afford. And from that I left the things at that.
But somehow I got a call requesting me to reach a person from a prayer group for a night vigil at Britona which was conducted by bro. Amalesh. Here again at the end of the session Bro. Amalesh gave a message “that a retreat-ant whose business is under construction is been blessed.” And this message again rebuilt my confidence in God’s miraculous ways.
A few days later I got a call that the machinery was on its way and I was in a fix about what to do and where to fit it. I sat with my family and close friend to discuss what to do at this moment of distress and no suggestion of the implementation came from the discussion. Just than out of the blues God put into my mind to wind up the discussion and to go out. Never in my life I had approached any person regarding my problems, but here there was a supernatural force and that was my Lord reaching me to a lady asking her about the shops for sale and luckily for me the same lady had only one shop for sale in her own complex and that also for the price that I could afford, this was really unbelievable! And that’s when I realized my God was working for me.
Back to my home I just checked my capability of purchasing the shop and I realized that I stand nowhere even for the quoted amount. Just than a divine touch made me focus on the assets that I had, and which I was planning to dispose much earlier but there were no takers. But now suddenly there was a time there was a offer from one person to buy my Taxi car and the bar and restaurant that I was running, and that’s how my Lord enabled me to acquire the shop and machinery which I agree that my Lord himself made available for such a reasonable rate.
At the moment I have already received two printing orders and this makes me feel that my Lord is working for me. And I’m very much sure that Lord my God will continue to assist me in all my future endeavors. Thank you Jesus,You are my Master and Saviour, in you I trust...

I praise God and thanks him and you Brother and all the members of the Shalom Life Ministry and specially Sr. Julia for praying for the gift of my grand child Nicole Ruth Vas, as 3 doctors confirmed that my Daughter in law would never conceive and my by the grace of god and your prayers today we have a miracle baby with us and more over she was delivered at 6 months and underwent serious infection and life taking sickness and also she has bilateral inguinal hernia. Today by your prayers and prayers of Sr. Julia she has been healed of all diseases and even her Hernia ha disappeared. Again I would like to thank you and your ministry and Sr. Julia for praying for my family especially for my grand child at the time we most needed prayers.

Praise God! I am a student of second year BBA .i had a very important seminar to give in college; it was a finance related topic, which was very difficult. Just 4 days before the presentation I lost my pendrive and all other important information.
I than gave a call to shalom life intercessory team, who asked me to pray the “The protection prayer”7 times, the “divine mercy chaplet” and lk1:37 “There is nothing that the lord cannot do” 50 times.
The lord had really worked wonders in my life by helping me give an excellent presentation and tackle all the questions effectively, and by making me feel his presence close to me. thank you lord!
